Wonderful pair of bedside tables produced by Pravenec in Czechoslovakia in 1957, with original manufacturer labels still attached. These elegant Mid-Century pieces feature a clean minimalist design with softly curved sides and full-front doors, a style highly sought after today. Each table includes a discreet hidden side handle, preserving the smooth architectural look of the front. Each door is on the piano hindges and inside each table there is a removable shelf inside.
A particularly interesting feature is the original faux grain finish — a decorative technique where the wood grain effect was hand-painted onto the surface. This historical finish has been carefully preserved and professionally restored to maintain the authentic character of the pieces while ensuring durability for future decades.
