This item trully shows its history and age on the finish, as the sun has bleeched the color of the sideboard on side and top clearly showing where the lamp and its cord used to be. It almost looks like the sideboard has been tatooed with an age. We kept this original finish on it, as we thought it really is charming and explains the vintage \"furniture with a story\" motto trully well.
